Dr Harry Mond is an Associate Professor at both Melbourne and Monash Universities in Victoria, Australia. He completed his cardiac fellowship in 1974 at Emory University in Atlanta Georgia and has been performing pacemaker implantation since 1970 at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. He has authored three books, numerous book chapters and over 260 published manuscripts.

Dr Mond was a foundation committee member of NASPeXAM (IBHRE), a board member of WSA formerly the International Pacing and Electrophysiology Society, a board member of Heartbeat International and associate editor of the journal PACE as well as being on the editorial boards of many electrophysiology journals. His awards include Pioneer in Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology of the US Heart Rhythm Society and Lifetime Achievement award of the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Dr Mond has retired from pacemaker implantation, but is still responsible for the pacemaker clinic at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, is in private practice and Medical Director of Cardioscan. His current research interest is right ventricular septal pacing.
